A Flower In Verse Poem by Linda Marie Van Tassell

A Flower In Verse

Rating: 5.0

Soft as zephyr wont to fly
spread my sails across the sky
Spin me round in pirouette
Love me lest I should forget
Play my heart to gently croon
the sweetest notes of tender tune
You are all my dreams come true
and every dream is dreamt for you
Twilight fades to golden day
beneath the sunlight of your ray
Saffron-azure-ruby beams
glisten there in all my dreams
You are all my loving knows
the rose that loves and ever grows
I the flower sent to say
your love is life's best bouquet
