A Flame In Sorrow Poem by Sani Kumar Singh Kshatriya

A Flame In Sorrow

Nowhere To Reach
But Miles And Miles To Walk,
And Eyes Wearied
In Search Of An Unseen Stalk.

In Search Of Some Shadow
Mirrors Don't Reflect These Days,
In Search Of A Moment
That Promised Me To Be Such And So Always.

In Search Of Some Pearls
An Ocean Stole From My Eyes,
Per Day Over The Oceans
I Sink And Rise.

Lone But Bright
Enlightening All That's Dark,
Nowhere To Reach
But Miles And Miles To Walk.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The poem is all about a journey...

A journey that has no destination but still we need to travel. Even when eyes loose their strength, their vision, we need to travel in search of someone's support. Someone we haven't yet seen, we haven't yet met.

We travel for some image of ours, which seems to be lost somewhere during this rush of life. In search of some moments we want never to change and remains such and so always.

We travel in search of some wishes, some dreams that don't turn true and are snatched away from us by this cruel society. And thus we wander all around in this entire world as sun sinks and rises over the oceans gathering water droplets [water vapour], to form clouds.

And then we are left all alone. Alone but enlightened with lot of experiences of this journey. And now are able to make new paths,
invent new ways.

THAT'S WHAT MY CREATION IS ALL ABOUT....
