A First Date Poem by Dean Bottomlley

A First Date

I have a date, and boy she's hot.
Oh my god I've got a spot!
Will she look and see I care
Or see the zit and simply stare?

Should I squeeze and make it burst
Or will that make the whole thing worse?
Use cover-all, hide it away;
But then she might think I am gay!

I must act smart and show my cool.
Keep my cred throughout the school.
If I don't go she'll be so vexed.
Tell you what I'll send a text! ! ! ! ! ! !
