A Fight For The Chair (A Poem For Children) Poem by Rajesh Thankappan

A Fight For The Chair (A Poem For Children)

Rating: 5.0

This is my chair
This is my chair
Two frogs were fighting it out
With lungs puffed-up with air.

One said, ‘ It is me who shall sit '
The other said ‘ No, you may quit,
And if you don't do so immediately
I shall give you a fist.'

The frogs fought with their fist
Wrestled each other with a twist
This caught the attention of two eagles
Who gave them both a lift!

Wow! ! What a nice poem. Not only kids but would be enjoyed equally by grown ups (like me) . The concluding lines literally give it a lift. Thanks, Rajesh ji.
