A Fickle Lover-March Poem by Ray Andrews

A Fickle Lover-March

Rating: 5.0

Like a fickle lover, March weather
Seduces us with it's soft days
Of warmth. Our lives are given
New meaning and wonder by it's
Light and the pheremones of
Cherry blossoms, daffodils and
Crocusses.

Then, the next day, the unfaithful
Blows through our lives with
Harsh cold winds of betrayal-
Deception rides the wind.

We can only wonder-we
Shudder to think of his capricious
Sister-April Showers
