A Few Words To An Unknown Reader Poem by Robert Eckstein

A Few Words To An Unknown Reader

Rating: 5.0

I will not ever see your face,
Or hear your voice, or touch your hand,
But part of you is in this place
Though living in a far-off land.
You read the words torn from my soul,
Words of laughter, words of tears.
To have you know me is my goal,
To share my hopes, to share my fears.
If I make you smile or make you cry
It proves my words are not in vain.
Beneath a clear or clouded sky
Come share my joy, come share my pain.

Poets, more often than others feel same way, despite geographic gaps they live with. Great write. Thanks for sharing
