A Fallen Angel Poem by mendocino girl J.M.

A Fallen Angel

Rating: 5.0

An Angel was sitting upon a cloud
When he spotted a girl in crowd
At first glance he fell in love
Knowing it was forbidden above
He traveled to the land below
To find the girl and say hello
And when she fell for him that day
He took a breath, and said he'd stay
Ignoring the wings beside his spine
The god like feathers were pure divine
Hitting his knees, he felt a burn
For when you leave, theres no return
Being mortal was the angels price to pay
For when he fell in love, that faithful day
