A Dream Poem by Hades Pandemonium

A Dream

I dream of things I'm not quite sure of
On long midsummer nights,
The luminescent moon will shine
With stars embedded in the sky.

The wolves will howl to the gods,
Creatures of the night will play,
Shadows dance into the darkness,
Silence seems to fade away.

Birds sing in tune to melodies
Played by the old man's lyre,
The wanderer will lead his nymphs
Around the big bonfire.

The night is so alive and wild
Until the sun comes out at dawn,
All nocturnal beasts recoil
And I am left here on my own...

Hi Pandemonium, I'm always attracted to titles including the word - dream. I'm glad I checked this one out, it has that kinda quality to it, the type I like. And, that's the best place to feel truly free. Cheers, Frank
