A Dream Poem by Dislocated Heart

A Dream

Rating: 2.3

Darling, Speak...
Don't shy away..
I've missed you..
so why don't you stay..

she shakes her head..
headed out the door,
just like my dream..
she packs up her bags..
she waves at me once more..

Out she went..

Darling, where are you going..?
Speak my love...

She looks back.. Next to her, a man..
He smiles wide.. opening the car door..
he pats her butt, gets in the driver seat..
while she slides in shotgun..
and I'm left on the porch.. thinkin.. what have I done...

Waking up.. with my veins pumping with anger..
my hand in a fist..
'Start of one great effing day.'
