'A Day. Poem by Dislocated Heart

I thought of you everyday..
and yes, years passed.
You're over me,
and I'm just bout there.

Closure was what I needed,
but never got it.
Questions remain,
and I know you cared.

but a scar will always remain,
from that one night,
you left with my heart..

Now the only thing I can simply do,
Let you go..
Tell myself every now and then..
its best for me.

Maybe one day,
I'll wake up,
and not have a thought of you..
just for a day...
