A 'dither' Or A 'tizzy'? Poem by Bryan Taplits

A 'dither' Or A 'tizzy'?

Remarked, said I, one sunlit day, no rush nor specially busy,
'The politics of the day, I said, 'confuse me 'to a tizzy.''
Then she spout her lips, began her blitz
'You know, ' she said (this insipid, jejune missy)
'You mean 'a dither! ''
For vehemently she disagreed with me,
'You do not mean 'a tizzy.'
I thought it over carefully,
And flagged this linguistic quisling
Then I shut her up, by exclaiming thus:
'Don't shake me, dear. Too fizzy! '
But her response had me askance
She doubled-down, this missy.
'I'm telling, you arrogant tool,
It's a 'dither' and not a 'tizzy! ''
