A Distant Love Poem by Debbie Towells

A Distant Love

Rating: 5.0

We will intertwine
With the leaves and the vines
Let the darkness fall upon us
In a world unknown
Closer we become.

Till light prevails
And awakens us
To all eternity
We shall be one
To conquer this distance so far between us.

Beautiful depiction of enduring bliss of love despite long periods of loneliness in a commute relationship, well articulated and nicely penned from inner recesses of the heart with insight. Love is a spiritual experience that affect one profoundly; a voyage of pure bliss. A lovely romantic poem elegantly penned in poetic diction with conviction. Thanks for sharing Debbie. Please read my poem THE OBSESSIVE AGONY OF LUST.
