A Different Kind Of World Poem by Dani Miller

We have been in this world for so long,
That we know whats around every turn.
We know it is either good or bad
And never in between.
We can be anything that we want
But sometimes we dont work hard enough.
But we also know that no matter what
We will always have someone to lean on.

We can make this world whatever we want
Something that only we have the access to.
And no one has a mind like ours,
So unique in every kind of way.
Anything our hearts desire is placed here,
And no one can ever tear that away.
If we let the outside in on our little world,
They wouldn't be able to understand us at all.

Watching us with envy is the day and night sky.
Because they can't have a world as perfect as ours.
Only we can laugh and be happy here,
Because only we understand what it is about.
And only we have each other
Because sometimes it seems as no one cares.
Because they dont even realize that
We are living a different kind of world
