I sink deeper
Diving, thriving within
Minding myself,
Reminding myself
To find myself
Where I am.
Thoughts echo here
Like in a chamber
Locked in fear
Afraid to remember
But it's always near
The calling, the seeking
The sought after
Nostalgia and reminiscence
Take me away, elusively
From the present
Inclusively I stay
In my own residence
As I am falling deeper
With every sentence.
Words combine
Is it here
I find myself
The essence
Of what I am?
