A Change Of Mind Poem by Sybil Staples

A Change Of Mind

It happened yet again;
I saw it on the fly.
Swore the thing
would not get by;
the traffic was too great.
With vigilance as my strength
of which I pay so little for,
in the end, there'll be
no other way than
to close that door.
