A Centurion's Spear Poem by Bill Grace

A Centurion's Spear

Rating: 5.0

With no small benefit
Of time and money behind me
I admire and respect most
Those parents who having neither
Keep the deadly snarl from their lips
This harpoon of sound
That more than wounds a child
Drives steel into the heart
As sure as any centurion's spear.

I bow to you and to your wisdom which can think such a way to aware the parents. Unique. The selection of the word 'steel' is really unbearable within the readers heart. Accurate use of the words. Centurion Spear is another gift to the reader to accept the challenge as a parent or can refuse it as a brute. Fantastic. My voting choice is the extreme. Regards, pranab 10+++
