A Cats Life Poem by Ray Hansell

A Cats Life

You lay in the sun
On a cold winter's day
Just laying there
Soaking up the rays

Your life is so easy
From day to day
You eat and sleep
Sometimes you play

You watch the world
As it passes you by
You don't get involved
You don't want to try

I wish that I
Had a life like that
But then again
I'm not a cat
