A Call At Midnight Poem by Rick Elpers

A Call At Midnight

Rating: 5.0

She waits for the clock
As I wait too
Nervous, excited, shy and open
We both revel in the corespondent
Nature of our lives, now that
Details familiarize each to each
My breath is quick and must be relaxed
Deep and loving
For first impressions leave their mark
I desire to be calm and cool
Intelligent and compassionate
I hope I can.
