In the morning after
A day that I saw her
Remorseful of the living death
We allow as friendship
Inspired a few words
That captured one's eyes
To read my heart
Returned as words
Giving rise to a smile
From my chest to my face
Her sentiment glows inside
As I've read many times
To be validated through
My suffering touches
Deeply in such a raw state
I thank her from my heart
