A Breath Poem by Keli Mims

Why can't I seem to catch my breath,
From that time, that moment you left,
Now lifeis just going by so fast,
I couldn't catch my breath till at last,
I found happiness and alot of it dad,
Everyday I think of you but I'm not as sad,
Everyday I remember you and I miss you,
He doesn't know how much he helps me through,
He numbs the pain of your death,
He gives me back the ability to take a breath,
You probably know, You probably see,
The way I look at him and him at me,
You probably understand why I like him,
It's not just a fling or on a whim,
I've liked him all along, all this time,
But since you're gone my hearts on the line,
It's just hanging on, just by a thread,
But it won't break or fall like lead,
Buecause I know one of you will keep it together
