A Bow Out Poem by Tony-Cemaluk Egbuonu

A Bow Out

Rating: 5.0

And he bowed out,
Afterall
He that cleaned my tears
Fare thee well,
He that wiped my tears

Secret tears of a child, Abandoned
By the eternal exist
Of the father

Fare thee well,
He that teared my tears
As you joined yours, my sister, And her sister, your in-law
To rest

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Poetic response to the news of my first brother in law who doubled as my defacto father on joining my late sisters, - his late wife (Longest Letter) and his wife's younger sister (Daughter Of My Father) .
