Babies are a Blessing
No matter when they come
Though some may get the news
When they feel they are to young

Conversations with family and friends
Whether welcomed or not
Not always what you want to hear
But come from concern and love

Go with you Heart
It is your life, and the one that lives inside you
The path you take is one God choose
For you a long time ago

Having a Baby is huge responsibility
For a woman of any age
She has to respect and protect her baby
Growing inside her day by day

While your baby is developing
Its mouth and nose, Ten fingers and Ten toes
Remember how important it is
Not to Drink and not to Smoke

Remember to eat healthy
And avoid any stress
And when your feeling tired
Be sure to take a rest

What once was your own body
Is now not yours alone
Your body is now the place
Your baby calls it's Home

Changes will come quickly
Emotions all over the place
Know that this is normal
Try setting a slower pace

Do not worry about reactions
You get from different ones
For its you that God has Blessed
With this little one

As the months go buy you may notice
A joy in all that are near
Its because of this little Blessing
You are about to share

I speak from experience
When I say your life will begin
When you see with your own two eyes
The child that was once within

Everything will change
In the blink of an eye
The past will not much matter
You will know where your future lies

Now your little baby
Everyone now can see
Circumstances of its arrival
Just a distant memory

A baby is a Blessing
God sends for us to love
To each and every one involved
This is a Blessing From Above
