A Bit Confused Poem by Somebody Special

A Bit Confused

Darling I think you are a bit confused.
I loved you.
Twisted arms flung.
You were my possession.
And I was your obsession.
Latching on.
Never willing to let go.
Even after I said no.
You kept sending these little dirty messages.
You said you love me and couldn't let go.
Talking about the soul I had.
Then threaten to commit suicide.
Now it is somehow my fault.
You took the plunge, you took the leap.
Too quick with the feet.
So suddenly.
Now you expect me to come crawling back.
I won't, I refuse to even acknowledge you even exist.
Not angry, just happy to have my peace.
Your obsession hopefully long deceased.
A freshly dug grave.
You say it was just buried.
Then it better not reach out for me.
