9th November,2014
On the death of Dr Myles Monroe
(An elegy by CC Okonkwo, Nigeria)

Can this dark be death?
Could this pain be expressed?
Seems so dark, I couldn't think.
It's hard, so hard to feel.
I heard the sudden crash and unforgettable smash the JET
The deep dark banged on the door of the earth.
I opened, behold It was my MENTOR, Myles Munroe!
Your brilliance of love, Ruth and other beloved.
On my birthday!
Oh dark thou art death!

It's so hard to feel!
November 9th, what a dark day dawn?
Thou art mad oh death!
Art thou awake in my wick?
But death, you are not the greatest tragedy, lack of purpose is- Myles you said.
What then is the big question about you Mr. Death?
To die empty?
Or to die with gifts?

I trapped some tears in the cloud!
Bubbles of purpose
And Pebbles of shaped destinies!
Yes! I Cry...Cry cry!
Yes multitudes cry!
But From the window of the heavens mansion
The expression of the heavens caution
Cry not!
But mourn the purpose, the dreams, the ideas that goeth with thee to thy grave.
Yes mourn!

Even though death as dark cloud thy face this day,
Yet I see thy face even clearer my hero!
I see you in the written,
I see you in the voice.
I see you in your amazing laughs.
I see a word engraved heart, PURPOSE

You live in the memory of men and women
You live in the heart of Multitude and leaders who discovered themselves because you lived.
You live in world changes even today.
You passed purpose ON Myles!

I feel your embrace in the heart of the God of all.
A majestic voice saying, welcome home,
GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT.
Welcome thou faithful ambassador!
Thou hast finished thy course!

Good night the big Trophy!
Good night Mr. Purpose!
Good night, Myles Monroe
CC Okonkwo loves you, Nigeria miss you.
Your life is unforgettable.
