993 Salve Poem by V F

It seems so juvenile
your behaviour puzzles me
are you jealous?
if so you need not be
are you angry and impatient?
but patience is the essence of love
how can you hurt someone who is so dear to you?
how can you be so cruel?
but it means that you are hurting more
and thus lashing out in your pain
talk to me dearest and I shall soothe your pain away
you say nothing, do nothing and yet expect everything
is it fair to me, who is reticent, reclusive as a hermit?
my soul guards my feelings ferociously,
you have to win my trust
only then will I let you in..
