(704) My Master-My King-My Father

Rating: 2.8

Master of truth, destroyer of pain,
You have the power to give health back again.
Here me Master, cover me with your love.
Send your blessings from high up above.
I’ve followed in your footsteps, praised your name.
I loved you from childhood but suffer just the same.
What have I done to displease you my King,
Please find a way to whisper in my ear.
I’ll wait for you Master, oh yes I will surely hear.
I can only question, and ask for a reason,
but I will accept what you do any day, any season.
Lord I ask this question because I don’t understand.
You are the king, and your final word stands.
I’ll take my pain and my troubles to bear,
Lord God I’ll wait patiently and hope soon to hear.
If no word comes Master and you close earth’s door.
Please take me Father to your Heavenly shore.

This is just a very thought filled poem that touches the heart...A prayer that is uplifting because even though this person is in pain they still hold on to their faith and never blame Him for their troubles. That is an amazing feat in itself to Always uphold Faith even when times are tough. Thank you for sharing and uplifting me with your faith filled words, ((HuG)) Shelley

I envy your faith Mel, I wish I shared it, but all my hopes and dreams seem to end in pain, just waiting for him to end it and i can know peace again..

Mel, this is just what I needed to read this Sunday morning. When our life gets ragged at the edge we often wonder what we have done to displease our King. Why I think he does it is to show us that without the pain how can we distinguish from the pleasure that he brings into our lives. Wonderful piece. Top marks and thanks for sharing it my friend. God Bless. David
