.4. Four Legged Thief Poem by David Threadgold

.4. Four Legged Thief

Rating: 5.0

The dog from next door
Will cop it one day
A fresh roasted chicken
He’d stolen away

He snuck through the fence
By the bush full of rose
Soon got the scent
Then just followed his nose

Sat there for cooling
The chicken on table
Straight into the kitchen
Through window was able

Gone in an instance
My chicken no more
Left one muddy paw print
That mutt from next door

You would have done better to have thrown him a bone Dave - then you would have had some left...... I liked the whole tale. A good one.10+
