317. I Will Never Come Back Poem by Dipankar Sadhukhan

317. I Will Never Come Back

Rating: 5.0

Sitting by your window
In a rainy afternoon
If you want to get back me
Even for a moment,
I will never come back
To knock at the window
Of your heart.

If you soar
On the wings of dream
And reach your dream land
To have me,
You must never find me there
As I will recede from you
Like a mirage or an illusion.

A lovely poem on lost love. Things cannot be the same again. With passing time, past is left far behind. Well penned.
