He doesn't have the ability to fly
or run at the speed of sound
but he does what he can for the ones he loves
and that makes him a hero

He can't do mind control
or have super strength
but he can help the ones he loves
with
and that makes him a hero

He does not fight crime everyday
or fight off alien invasions
but he can read his children stories
before they go to sleep
and help chase their monsters away at night
and that makes him a hero

He has no special abilities
except the power to love
to most he is just a father
but in his family's eyes he is their hero
