2012
perhaps 2001 signifies the crumbling of our age
the Mayans
those calendar correct creatures
from civilization long gone
predicted a shakeup
worldwide
yes
world
wide
wherefore whereas whereafter
the survivors among us will rise
there were people
who would swear
the earth was flat
we can be remembered as the ones who
wanted more
believed we needed more
worked ourselves into a frenzy for more
than the simple beauty
we had
failed to recognize
under appreciated
squawkishly squandered
traded
for the flim flam flash
the glitzy glimmer
the garishly greasy gratification
of our solidly sordid lives
AMAZING! ! ! With the unknown ahead of us all we have to do is wait and see. This is a beautiful piece! great job!
Yea...commercialization and soul-less living...many want it..2012, Mayans, or Nostradamus, the Book of Revelation..etc, etc. The choice is ours? Write on. Cheers. Subroto
Nice use of alliteration! I read an interesting hypothesis about sunstorm activity and reduced earth protective magnetic field in 2012, with our power grids getting blown out. Sounds like fun. -chuck
