After The Tragedy

Rating: 5.0

he was quiet
and careful not to make friends
keeping his life a desert
to remain rootless
detached
from anything
that might suck the remaining embers
and instill the final chill

Really sad one. When life gives pain after pain after pain, then this is how many will feel. Well expressed in very few lines.
