.2. Milkman Poem by David Threadgold

.2. Milkman

Could I have been a milkman?
Starting out at crack of dawn
Loading up my milk float
While others sleep or yawn

I’d take out bagged potatoes
Eggs & bacon maybe pop
Lots of creams and yogurts
And when it’s full I’ll stop

With a trailer, you could sell fridges? as you go from door to door I'm after a kettle to, it would save me going to the store and i wouldn't mind a bike tyre and a brand new broom i think you'd make a great Milkman, if you only had the room! thank for the laugh David loved your poem regards Bob
