2. Head Storm Poem by Casual Diamond

2. Head Storm

Rating: 5.0

When the storm is at it's climax
Crashing around inside my head
And the rain is driving hard
Against my brain
Thoughts aren't so easy to explain
But there's good reason
For feeling this blue
And all early indications
Are pointing to you

I hope this storm blows through, soon

Because when day and night fight
An ongoing battle, never to end
I always used to know that morning
Came through, victorious

But a darker cloud looms over this time
And the only light is an occasional flash of lightning
To lighten up the gloom
And my only hope of brightness and warmth
To rid me of this despair
Is to head towards the fire
Started by the storm

The more I read this the better it gets. You really captured something here. I think it's because the honesty works and by baring your soul this poem just became a whole lot more human. HG: -) xx

Great title... great poem.... I always find storms are good for clearing stuff up. Sometimes the clash and the bang help to rouse stuff and when it's all done and dusted there's that incredible clarity of air. HG: -) xx

A very difficult storm to weather my friend! you will succeed....I am sure many will recognised this terribly destructive dilemma you find yourself in....just allow time to work it's magical way, is my advice....smiling at you, Tai
