192. I Am Fear Poem by Jaden Knight

192. I Am Fear

Harken silly person and listen well
I am the voice of your fears
I speak to you in the dark of night
even when you try to close your ears

With my powers I have the ability
to turn you in to a trembling mess
no explanation do I need to give
although I will tell you this once

I AM YOUR FEAR

You fed me well over the years
I dined on all your phobias
I can get very hungry during the night
so I like to drink the sweat of your terror

I'm behind every nightmare
every foot step in the dark
everything that you hate that scares you
is a part of what you made me

Unless you face me and beat me back
I will continue to prevent you from being you
maybe one day you'll force me out
until that day comes I will be your hardest challenge
and your greatest terrors

Profanisaurus, my favorite stanza: You fed me well over the years I dined on all your phobias I can get very hungry during the night so I like to drink the sweat of your terror of course i'd rather dine on potatoes. phobias tend to be rather tough to chew. and i'd rather drink tears of laughter, as sweat of terror, though it sounds cool, is rather bitter. yes, cool is a good way to describe this poem for me. i'll send it to MyPoemList to play with some of your other poems which reside there. bri :) have a craze as, lemon traffic light day!
