(1) Marry The Goddess Poem by Uriah Hamilton

(1) Marry The Goddess

I've glimpsed the moon
in pale desperation at midnight.

I've seen sacred prostitutes
in spiritual ecstasy on rooftops.

I've offered incense at dawn
in gratitude for a woman's existence

and said prayers beneath
towering trees.

But every long-sought reality
will be realized and complete

when I marry the goddess
in her dark forbidden temple.
