064. The Sun Rises At The Start Of Another Day Poem by Jaden Knight

064. The Sun Rises At The Start Of Another Day

The sun rises at the start of another day
bringing fresh blood shed
more deaths to mourn
for people to read about the next day
as if they want to know

People die in the streets
who cares
that’s the way it goes
greed drives the rich
the poor have to fight to survive

Terrorists seek to gain revenge
on incompetent governments
leaders come and go
dictators rise and fall

Can no one see the bloodstains
on the tattered flag of humanity
it’s not even flying now
it just hangs torn and useless
a mockery of the patriotic suicides
which litter history

The winners write the books
about the losers they beat in battle
in that respect we are all losers
so what’s the difference

If this is peace
then what is war
the system is compromised
with too much trash
is death the only way out?

A hardhitting poem on the sociopolitical situation. Written in awesome rhyme schemes. Pls review my latest poem too.
