Born a statistic
added to the rest
identified only by number
not by name
What is a name these days
if only an identity
it makes no difference
to what happens in life
Want to be superior
create your own identity
try to form an oppressive government
it’s already been done
so what’s the point in trying
Celebrities look down on the others
to show off what they are
being famous is over rated
but can be fun while it lasts
Pop stars copy each other
because some have no ideas
is nothing original any more
the rule never seems to change
Born with a number
given a name
live to the limits
die without a trace

perhaps i am being too presumptuous, but i think both of us will leave a trace, a good one at that! i did NOT say it would be a BIG trace! another nice one, P. bri :) p.s. but i have read recently that (some believe) a name can (somehow) make a difference to a person's life. and i think eye color as well. i think the top performers are usually John and Bri. ? :) ) )
