കണ്ണന്‍റെ പുല്ലാങ്കുഴല്‍
കുഴലൂതും കണ്ണന്‍റെ കമനീയവിഗ്രഹം
എന്‍റെ പൂജാമുറിയിലിരുന്നിരുന്നു
കഞ്ജവിലോചനന്‍ ചാരുത പൂത്തപോല്‍
പുഞ്ചിരി മാരികള്‍ പെയ്തു നിന്നു
ആരോ പറഞ്ഞുപോയ് വീട്ടിലെ കണ്ണന്
പുല്ലാങ്കുഴലണി പാടില്ലത്രെ
കുഴലൂതി കുഴലുതി കള്ളനവന്‍ പിന്നെ
ഗൃഹമാകെ ഊതിക്കെടുത്തുമത്രെ
അതുകേട്ടു പേടിച്ചു വീട്ടമ്മ ഉണ്ണിതന്‍
കുഴലെടുത്തെങ്ങാണ്ടൊളിച്ചു വച്ചു
കുഴല്‍ പോയ കണ്ണന്‍റെ പുഞ്ചിരി മങ്ങിയോ
കദനം കടക്കണ്ണില്‍ പൂവിട്ടുവോ
അതു വഴി പോയൊരെന്‍ കണ്ണുകള്‍ കണ്ണന്‍റെ
കുഴലില്ലാ കൈകളില്‍ വീണുപോയി
കീശയില്‍ നിന്നെന്‍റെ നീലനിറപ്പേന
ഊരി ഞാന്‍ ഉണ്ണിതന്‍ കയ്യില്‍ വച്ചു
പിന്നെയും പാടിത്തുടങ്ങിയല്ലൊ കണ്ണന്
പിന്നെയും പുഞ്ചിരി മാരി തൂകി
ഉണ്ണിതന്നംഗുലി പുല്‍കിയ തൂലിക
പുല്ലാങ്കുഴലായി ഭാഗ്യവതി
ഞാനുമെന്‍ കണ്ണനും മാത്രമറിയുന്ന
ഗോപ്യരഹസ്യമായ് പേനക്കുഴല്‍
കണ്ണന്‍റെ കണ്‍കളിലെപ്പഴും കാണായി
എന്നും മങ്ങാത്തൊരു കള്ളച്ചിരി
തൂലികത്തുമ്പിലെ വാണിപ്പെണ്ണും കൂടെ
തൂമയില്‍ പാടാന്‍ തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോള്‍
മാധുര്യമൂറുന്ന കണ്ണന്‍റെയൂത്തിന്
ജ്ഞാനത്തിന്‍ തത്തകള്‍ ശീലുകൂട്ടി
കുഴലൂതി കുഴലുതി പാടിനില്‍കൂ കണ്ണാ
ഇരുള്‍ തിങ്ങും അജ്ഞാനം മാറിടട്ടെ
നിന്‍ വിരല്‍തുമ്പില്‍ കളിക്കുമെന്‍ തൂലിക
ഉപനിഷദ് സൂക്തങ്ങള്‍ പാടിടട്ടെ
ഗഹനസത്യങ്ങളുതിര്‍ത്തിടട്ടെ
