If there was a person I thought I could forever hold,
That person was you,
If there'd been a dream I thought I could live,

My frozen heart is melting through my eyes,
My hidden feelings tear away from past disguise,
If ‘ere you wanted proof that I could care,
See then these tears that slowly cloud my stare, Those tears with which you thought I could not part, You have brought stumbling from a sundered heart.
