Sun Worshippers

Sun Worshippers

We pray, in humming Buddha
We are right here
Where you could shower your
Non ultra-violent
Blessings.

This day, this Sabbath, we could
Ordain our conceptualised
Intellect
Into the enjambment of your
Philosophy.

This monastery of your cultured ways
Code of conduct
That plough what’s right, the light
It bears, lanterns
To us who desire in this lust
For knowledge.

We are not pagans, we beseech
These malicious Israelite.

For this sun, though we pay our tributes
For this sun, our hats are donned.

This glow, this nature-ly glow
That by its stripe, taken from the
Throne-ly tabernacle of the ancient one.

The nexus of this place, this very sphere
Our crystalline paradise
Merged, so celestially secured
Without you, survive they can not
We cannot.

Yes, let them call us pagans
These malicious Israelite—in Hades
Their dooms could emerge.

We shall stay under your hallow
This morning glow
We shall gaze at your wonder
For you
A wonderful synergy…
