njiri wambui Poems

The rain fell today, for once..
It drizzled, trinkled at first, hence
The clouds bore heavily, heaving
...and the torrent waters poured
...

Take away the pain that burdens, of a love that is so hardened
Of a filling joy, that is all so coy
This continous heartbreak that will on one dawn, break
a non-so existent love, my emotions must solve
...

Once, the sun shone all day
The birds sang, in a mood so gay
All round, the feeling of joy and happiness
Now, the gray clouds hang about dauntily
...

Your scent follows me menacingly
Giving me that feeling so tingly
Slowly you kill me with that smile
Like a venom so strong and vile
...

Have you ever lost your being
Just at the thought of someone you are seeing
Thinking about his kiss your wishes are done?
and his touch makes you change your tone
...

Bequeth thy maiden, thy glorieth faiden
with baquets of thy tears, for all the fears
Anger on angels filleth, on her the trouble beith
For upon the maiden, the angels have cast their youth
...

She swears
She screams
She walks
She talks
...

It doesnt choose who to loose for the other
Neither does it want to warn itself
When everything is not goin right
Only holding on to what it thinks best
...

How to tame it my biggest task
and now I ask
Contain it in the biggest cask
Let it beat in silence
...

At times we fight with all the might
Sometimes we argue for the simplest cues
We sometimes stay away just to have our way
And it all comes down to this, with you am always at peace
...

A shall sing a song so strong
Of a weight so less
If only we could hold
And our hearts free
...

This hearts have hurt
This hearts have loved like there is no loving
They have perfected the art
Of being there and pushing on
...

How much strength does it take to love
Does it consume your every being
So much that you cannot give it away
...

Before this was me, you knew my being
You wrote down every of my needs
even if i had to tell you some
slowly you let me grow,
...

Flower petals lay dry on the ground
Waiting...not in any way found
Once full, radiant and in awe of the blossom
They were, yes
...

A whisper to awaken the spirit
A song to liven the atmosphere
A wish to keep the star shining
...

I long for that sculpture that captured my soul
Strong and fearless
Tall, thick in clay, brown as the mugaca tree
Harmless yet powerful
...

Nimble branch upon the mighty tree
Faded petal on a jaded rose
Oh how totally they are so free
Till they day luck shall pose
...

It Rained On Me

The rain fell today, for once..
It drizzled, trinkled at first, hence
The clouds bore heavily, heaving
...and the torrent waters poured

The rain poured today,
It drizzled, trinkled at first...

The ground took all of it in
As quick and anxious as sin
It quenched it's thirst and hunger
..and gone were the pains and pangs

You see in this land, it rarely rains
Despite the vast greenwood so fertile
but then again the rain comes at times
...and after the clean washed land shines

The rain poured today,
It drizzled, trinkled at first...

Funny, dont you think..not a trace
The land finally back to its grace
Not a dropp of water in sight
...and now shines the sunlight
