Nisho Olme Poems

I tried to stop the world from laughing
As I failed again
And though the world stopped for a while
I knew I couldn’t win
...

It was a thing of beauty
That I put in place of you
A picture of a girl I loved
And wished I really knew
...

This'll be the happiest poem,
That I have ever made,
Written in the happiest home,
Where I have ever played.
...

Once staring at a shattered mirror,
Two lonely faces did appear,
Two burning scars both shining bright,
That brought no comfort to the night,
...

5.

A sadness runs through me
Today as I rhyme,
And its torture defeats
All my notions of time,
...

A broken, shattered, lonely girl,
who knows me all too well.
A gloomy smile of limpid pain,
That even I can't quell.
...

The ashen skin and long sleeve shirt,
The frown that gives her peace,
The broken home and crippled heart,
The longing for release.
...

Happy, Mad, Joyous, Sad,
Turns away when he feels bad;
He can't forget her gentle touch,
Remembering what he had.
...

I love the way you make me laugh
And make me smile at you
I love the way you look at me
With eyes so deep and blue
...

I stare at the entrance to heaven
And it is you who gazes back
...

I met a girl, I loved her so
Her hair was honey, and skin was snow
She made me feel like I was fine
Until my demons killed me…
...

For once I’d like to go to bed
And think of something new,
To close my eyes and not be swarmed
By memories of you,
...

The happiness I show
Is just a mask to hide my pain
A place where all my sadness hides
Like teardrops in the rain
...

Cry me a river so that I may drowned,
And never again shall I have to be found,
...

Tonight you said you loved me
As I slowly fell to black
...

There once was a soldier,
There once was a lass,
There once was a girl with a heart made of glass.
Along came a bullet,
...

I’ve never really noticed,
How I smile when I’m with you;
Nor have I ever pondered,
What it is, to me, you do.
...

18.

The way you steal my every thought
And center it on you;
Betrays the humble pretense
Of the girl I thought I knew.
...

19.

It’s in the way you never care
And permeates the smile you wear
It’s buried in your chestnut hair
And showers you like rain.
...

I know a girl, a little rose,
That cries alone and no one knows,
She dies alone inside her room,
While I pray for my rose to bloom.

And The World Kept Silent

I tried to stop the world from laughing
As I failed again
And though the world stopped for a while
I knew I couldn’t win
I heard it snicker as I left
And heard it start to lie
But as I stopped to tie my shoe
I heard it start to cry
I felt its pain and saw its tears
And turned to help it out
But when I stood beside the world
The planet came about
He bruised my like he did the world
And took away my stuff
He tortured me with words until
He thought I’d had enough
And then while I was laying there
A huddled crying mass
I saw the horrors still to come
And saw my courage pass
And in a sickness of regret
I stole a sideways glance
And saw the world just standing there
As if within a trance
