mostly raised in Florida, i had alot of experience in getting to know a different variety of people. a lot of those people inspire me. and i thank God for that. And b/c of these people i learned to respect all living things, includng the earth. i dnt see the good or the bad in ppl i just see them for who they are. but some times i cant help but judge, even though it's not my place to.)

Cold

The warmth that I once had
I shiver away
I can't understand
this growing pain
I lay here in the snow, no where to go
when the darkness surrounds me
I want to welcome it but life won't let me
the pain it relentless
suddenly I stop shivering
I dont have no pain
I stare out continuously
but then my vision start to go blurrly
then I realize that Im dying
maybe GOD does have mercy
letting me die with no pain
whats that sound?
thud...thud..thud..
my breath is takin away from me
I feel the air pressing down on me
then I hear some one saying to me as they approach me
'' We are here to take you home soldier''
I feel the warmth return to me as i'm being grabbed
I start to shiver again
and i know i'll be fine
