When It Is Raining….

When the sky is crimson with strokes so wild
And clustering clouds, the stropping rain
I conceal and pray let I be once again a child
Do lour in heart, to peep through the windowpanes
When the autumn roars with pouted face
And the rain just dripping on the roof
Sleepless, in reveries to feel the smell of mud
And the frogs, their waning sound from far aloof
And the thrums of silver over the sky ahead
I wish to be a child as I were
To have the chilling wind makes my marrows blue
To hear the pelting stones
And the spray of pebbles and the bubbles
I wish I could ever hide behind my trousers
And had wings to make me fly
And play with flowers and wither as they do.
