Naldo Africa Poems

Until you find me broken and torn apart
in this world of scars and pain
you would see my stems and twigs
litter upon the ground as none remain
...

I dance in the lonely rain
and picture my poetry in motion,
as sad tears drift on the pelter
like the billows of the ocean
...

Barefoot round the sea rocks,
my friend was the one who held my hand,
carried my struggle throughout my life
on my own by nature I could not stand
...

You can see me crying
forsaken and forlorn,
there is unending pain
happily I am not dying...
...

Broken Tree By Naldo Africa

Until you find me broken and torn apart
in this world of scars and pain
you would see my stems and twigs
litter upon the ground as none remain

A woody heart and seeing my branch
form a teardrop from my single root
I am all alone here looking for a way
as no one cares If you do not fruit

O' my tears I have come to terms
from which I cannot escape
in this world you mean nothing,
until they have seen you losing shape
