The Midnight Guest

I av workd all day 4 dis moment:
The moment of grace
And satisfying sensual feeling.
I av cleaned my cellar with absorbing anticipation
Listening as each of my footsteps
Was followed by d swift legs of expectance
Down d dusty staircase of my lonely cellar.
I av purified d creases on my straying bed
And each swag of d dancing curtains
Has fallen ryt in place-
The work of my delectible arrangement.
The army of darkness ran toward me,
They kidnapped the sun
Just as it was escaping to d west.
They hate it so much
That they came wit a lamp in its place-
The smiling moon,
Piercing through d transluscence of my blinds.
But the cowardly soldiers fled
At the threatening sight of my candles.
A bath, a pyjamas, a cologne,
The stage was thus set
For d long awaited nyt
silently crept in. Sneaky!
I lukd behind me
Into d shadows,
Over my shoulders.
The decorumed nyt
Amplifying my shallow breath
Expecting my midnyt guest.
Forth and back my head swayed
As I lukd thru d windows
Tho' very careful with d blinds
Into the silhouette of d apple tree
Cast by d radiant grin of d moon
To d sydwalk and to d backdoor
Down thru d sleeping hallway
To my fragrant flowery entrance.
For all my pacing around came a reward
For there, i saw sumtn:
'Twas d disappointment in nothingness.
I then sat on d couch
Staring at d candles
(The ceremonial candles for my guest)
Relentlessly!
And the fireplace? flickering,
Rejoicing in d stainlessness of my home
Jubilating, clapping, crackling.
But she 'eased in' in d hissing wind
Saying swift sweet soft words
Caressing my hair
Threatening d candles
Seducing my senses
Relaxing my mind
We never said a word
Then she took me to bed
And we were together all nyt
Entering me, feeling my inside
Doing the ryt things.
We had paid the ransome
And the sun was free again
The bigger candle came,
And she disappeared into inexistence
It chased her away.
But she left a note-
(In d redness of my eyes
In d creases of my pyjamas
In d rebellion of my hair
In d roughness of my bed)
So romantic it was,
promising to be back dat nyt, tonyt and every nyt
And with these words, she concluded:
'Yours faithfully,
sleep.'
Yes, we never said a word!
