Your breath on my neck
Your pulse in my heart
I see the smile on your face
I dream our hearts will never part

Pushing, pulling,
lifting, grunting.
Muscles tiring,
heartbeat thumping
...

There is this little booster,
When we feel we're at half mast,
Its been around forever,
an eternity, a past
...

Pain it never leaves,
Always inside,
Screaming.
Threatening to burst forth.

All we want
Is everyone's right
To live in our homes
Without the need to fight

I think of this man in the light and the dark.
This man who's quiet and large of heart.
This man in need of piece of mind.
This man who's so gentle and kind.
