Eerie fog surrounds the school,
All is quiet on campus,
Poor Neil lies at home,
Supposedly sleeping.

Stuck,
Can’t speak my mind,
No one will listen,
Stuck.

There lies a soldier,
Who had a great wager.
His wager was Life,
He had lost it to a knife.

This Country founded on Ideals,
But so many lie, cheat, and steal.
This I do not under stand,
Did these ideals wash away in the sand?

Life without would be no life at all,
I would crash, crumble and fall.
You mean the world to me,
You could really be the one to be.

I know it is rough, what you are going threw.
But I am only here just to help and hold you.
You’re Grandma needs you,
A lot more that I do.

I know what we have,
I’m not about to screw it up.
My love for you is never ending,
What I say is true,

Is that the way it's supposed to be?
If so that's not for me.
