Appreciation is essential for living
The ungrateful boy dies as we speak
The flawed girl lives with sadness
She hasn’t forgotten her privilege
Yes, she is frozen by cold disadvantage
A warm drug will come
Temporary Custiness won’t recycle
Triggered realization is what surfaces
And the boy lies in the dirt of regret
Appreciation is essential for living
Life is the privilege in her remembrance
