Mariam Eissa Poems

Sometimes I envy the birds
For being what they are

They fly wherever they wish
...

She lives the poetry she cannot write...

Anyway how could she write...
...

In the past you were the heaven
but now... the house of the devil
When I hear your name I cry
Cuz in the past.. you were very high
...

Can you remember,
When we were younger?

When everything was clear,
...

I know that the last year...
Few seconds more we wouldn't bear
But the clock struck 12
Pronouncing a new year
...

It's time to sail this ship
away from the shore
cuz I nearly forgot.. not so sure
about what I've been fighting for
...

The Best Poem Of Mariam Eissa

Freedom

Sometimes I envy the birds
For being what they are

They fly wherever they wish
And see lots of fish

They see bees and butterfly
And they never say goodbye

Sometimes I wish to be a bird
And fly
Across the ocean I begin
And home is my end

And in the forests I hide
From the darkness behind

Cause it is not fair at all
To live between a wall
